As a native of Walpole, Massachusetts, that third bullet really hit home for me! Although our biggest claim to fame was a maximum security prison that closed this year, it's nice to know Burns exists in a parallel Walpole universe.
Ah cool! I’d heard of Walpole Mass but hadn’t heard of Walpole NH. Would like to visit both someday. I recall the prison in Walpole was mentioned in the movie The Town. Also it’s odd seeing my surname in that Burns article! (No relation to the English family as far as I’m aware.)
